VLCS5830 (Vishay) is a red 5 mm LED with a clear, non-diffused lens and ultrabright AlInGaP technology, from the VLC.58 series, with a very small emission angle.

• 24 000 to 65 000 mcd luminous intensity at IF = 50 mA · ±4° angle of half intensity
• 620 to 630 nm wavelength (624 nm typical) at 50 mA · forward voltage of 2.2 V typ. and 3.0 V max. at 50 mA
• Chip junction temperature up to 125 °C · −40 to +100 °C operating range · ESD withstand voltage up to 2 kV (JESD22-A114-B)
• AEC-Q101 qualified · uses: interior and exterior lighting, LED panels, central high mounted stop lights (CHMSL) and traffic signals
